One is not
a kind of the other.
5-MeO-DMT is 5-methoxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine. DMT, used on its own, normally means N,N-dimethyltryptamine.
The prefix is the whole difference in writing: a methoxy group at the fifth position. That is why the names look like variants of each other, and it is also why they are not. They are distinct compounds, and this library treats them as such throughout.
Both are tryptamines and both are potent. Beyond that, nothing should be assumed to carry across from one to the other without evidence that it does.
